Seahorse near the beach in sheltered seagrassMIRC, in collaboration with Loloata Island Resort and Project Seahorse, is pleased to announce the launch of a photo competition, entitled “Seahorses of Papua New Guinea”.  We hope this competition will prove an interesting and fun event for all divers, as well as being a source of good images that MIRC can use for seahorse taxonomy purposes as part of its research into seahorse diversity and distribution within PNG.

The competition starts on October 16, 2006 and ends on April 15, 2007, 12.00 am, Papua New Guinea.
